Base Polyol YP200

MCNS Polyol Y-P200 is a grafted polypropylene glycol containing copolymerized styrene and acrylonitrile, especially designed for the production of high bearing slabstock foams. It can be blended with other polyols to achieve desirable PU foam properties.

Storage

MCNS Polyol Y-P200 is hygroscopic. The absorption of water would affect reactivity and physical properties of the final product. It should be kept in tightly closed containers in dry condition to prevent contamination, away from direct heat source. Storage temperature between 20~35℃ is recommended. It would be viscous at low temperatures. It can be heated up to 60℃ before using for easy handling.

Handling Precautions

MCNS Polyol Y-P200 has very low odor of acute toxicity and does not present a significant health hazard to users. However, general standards of industrial hygiene should be observed when handling this chemical. Suitable protective clothing and eye protection must be worn to avoid unnecessary contacts or accidental ingestion. In case of skin or eye contact, wash promptly with copious amounts of clean water. In case of eye contact, seek medical attention.
